Al Ain Compost Plant

Al Ain Compost Plant is a wastewater treatment plant west of Jebel Hafeet.

The site is not specifically mentioned in the Shell Birdwatching Guide, but it is marked as "Compost Plant" on page 46.

West of Jebel Hafeet, signposted to Compost Plant.

A sign at the entrance says Al Ain Master Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The gate is manned - access not guaranteed. 

Another access by driving past the entrance gate, taking the track first right and following the perimeter wall to to the overflow pools on the far side. There are no restrictions here but you need 4x4 to drive round the back; otherwise walk.
