Indicators for Heuglin's Gull - adult winter; dark mantle and red gonys not reaching upper mandible. Pale eye. Small, round head and fine bill  indicative of female. Steppe Gull not ruled out, but bill not typical of winter Steppe Gull.

Indicators for Baltic gull is the black band across the tip of the bill, pale eye and a very dark mantle. Noted in the field was size smaller than the nearby Caspian Gulls.
