Nouakchott Street Marsh
25°10'31.6''N + 055°25'48.1''E
Nouakchott Street Marsh is a small pond with reeds, discovered in 2005. It will probably be lost to construction soon, but was good through January 2008.
It is not mentioned in the Shell Birdwatching Guide.

This map is from 2003 and does not correctly reflect the Al Warsan Lakes area - it is now heavily built up.
At the first roundabout after passing the Dragon Mart and Dubai Pivot Fields, turn all the way back towards Dubai and the Pivot Fields. Turn right on Nouakchott Street, right after the petrol station on your right hand side.
The marsh is 50 meters on your right side. It is possible to walk around the area, but it might be quite muddy.

White-tailed Lapwings, Common Snipes, Temminck Stints and Citrine Wagtails are common here. There is a lot of dispersal between the marsh and Dubai Pivot Fields just across the highway.
