From Sheik Zayed Road in Dubai, driving in the direction towards Abu Dhabi, you will pass the well known landmarks of Crown Plaza Hotel on your right and Emirates Towers on your left.

The next roundabout you come to (immediately after seeing Starbucks and French Connection on your right) is called Defence roundabout. Take this roundabout, exit to the left (second exit) onto road E44 towards Hatta:

Driving towards Khor Dubai and Ra's al-Khor Wildlife Sanctuary you will continue on the road E44 towards Ra's al-Khor, Hatta and Oman:

Try to avoid driving in the left lane, but stay in the next-to-left lane to avoid the insane people insisting on driving 160 km/h. They WILL flash their lights at you and then approach to within 5 cm of your rear bumper to intimidate you to move right.

After a few kilometers, you will pass the new Dragon Mart on your right:

Take the exit to the right about 400m after the EPPCO petrol station (where the orange tanker-cars turn off), then continue 100 m until you see the sign below; take the left turn here.

.... and drive for another 300 meters along the fence with trees on your left side, and turn off the tarmac road when the trees end. You are looking for the main entrance looking like this:

Note that the gate itself is often closed, necessitating you to open it and make sure you CLOSE IT after you have passed through. Important also after you leave. I have spoken with the foreman on site, and he was very keen on the whole closing procedure. Park at the gate and walk around. We are allowed access to the Dubai Pivot Fields thanks to their good will, so let us respect their wishes.
