Al Wathba Camel Racetrack is a camel racetrack 30 km southeast of the city of Abu Dhabi. As of 2005 it is no longer watered, and is sadly no longer the top birding spot in the UAE.
It is called Al Wathba camel racetrack on page 30 in the Shell Birdwatching Guide.

The only place to birdwatch these days (since 2005) is the grass in front of the Grand stand for migrants, the track immediately to the east of the Grand stand for Bimaculated Larks, the Al Wathba Wood for migrants and possibly drive the old tracks through the now non-existant grass after dark for Egyptian Nightjar.
